Rocky Hill War Memorial and Museum

Opened in 1925, the Rocky Hill War Memorial was built as a tribute to the men and women of Goulburn who served during the First World War.

The tower stands 20 meters high, on the peak of Rocky Hill. The lookout gallery at the top of the tower provides spectacular views over the city and surrounding district.

At the foot of the tower, in the old Caretakers Cottage you can view a collection of war memorabilia and artefacts, including 16 items of national significance.

Over the years the collection has grown with several private donations being made by local families.

In 2020, a stunning new contemporary museum will officially open to house an additional exhibition and education space.
