The Fireside Inn is located across from Belmore Park.
Built in 1934 it retains all the charm and warmth of the era and during the winter months the big open fire adds warmth to the Olde English atmosphere.
The menu changes seasonally and uses the finest of local produce. Choose from the Blackboard menu for lunch or the A la carte menu for dinner.

Such an impressive hotel
On entering you receive such a warm welcome by the lovely reception staff. This hotel is very similar to the International NH Hotel chain. Incredibly comfortable bed. Wonderfully large bathroom with excellent toiletries supplied. To top if off they even supply mugs for your coffee which you can sip slowly whilst watching the huge TV in bed.

The Abbey Motel has raised the bar in 5 star accommodation in Goulburn. My stay there was excellent, the staff went a level above to make the stay pleasurable and the quality of the rooms are certainly 5 star. Thank you James

I have been on a road trip through VIC, NSW & QLD for the past 3 weeks. I have stayed in hotels & motels including spoiling myself in a 5 star Brisbane hotel. Of the 15-16 places I have stayed, this one has been by far the best. Everything from the staff, room, amenities and decor was excellent.

We will be back
On arrival for our short 3 night stay we were greeted by the perfect reception staff, forgot to get her name (sun 3/7/22), very friendly and helpful and invited us to have a coffee from the machine in reception.
Loved everything about the spacious room and it was so nice to have very comfortable beds. The downstairs room had a garden view which we got to go into for a short while due to so much rain and cold. Great shower, very quiet, good sleep

We loved everything. Incredibly big bathroom. Looks brand new and very clean. Our room was on the top level and had a good size balcony with table and chairs. I saw the level below had well maintained courtyards. Beautiful old church across the road. great breakfast / lunch place right next door. The room was well laid out with a separate little area with a desk and chair. Proper wardrobe and a solid shelf to open your suitcase on. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff at reception desk. Very good value for money.
